For associate editors or board members
To perform the peer review process means to invite reviewers and make final decision for a manuscript on behalf of the editor-in-chief. CIP uses an online peer review system. To perform the peer review process, please log into your account at uscip.org
In general, a decision is made around 8 weeks after the manuscript is submitted. If you find the manuscript is in low quality and is not worth the peer review process, feel free to reject them directly. CIP recommends inviting 3 - 4 reviewers for each submission as not everybody will accept to review.
A quick guide for editorial board is available at https://uscip.org/instruction/board_guide.pdf
You may search for more reviewers online and add them to the system.
You may also find the following video tutorials helpful (please note that the peer review system has been updated slightly after the videos were produced). It will show you step by step how to use the CIP system to invite reviewers and make a board decision.
