Most open-access journals charge more than a thousand dollars per accepted manuscript. From CIP’s perspective, that means, access to publication for authors is not truly open. CIP’s publication fee is affordable, at $500 per accepted paper. CIP aims to encourage all scientists to work together to share knowledge. To further reduce publication fees, CIP offers Institution Membership Program.

Institution Members pay a flat rate annual membership fee (2012 Institution Membership Fee $200). Members are then given a 15% discount on the publication fee.
